Company

On March, 25th, 1996 a Moldavian venture „Sanin” SRL was registred in the State Registration Chamber of the Republic of Moldova. The first direction of activity was the import of small batches/parties of films for agriculture. In a year the company managed to gain a certain client base as well as to estimate the possibilities and the prospects of this market. 

The increasing demand for hothouse films has impulsed the enterprise for the opening of its own manufacturing department. In 1997 the "Sanin" S.R.L purchased the first two units of equipment for production of films for general purposes and for the needs of agricultural producers. Moreover, «Sanin» launched a completely new, for Moldova, way of shrinkable film production and became the first company in our country which could offer to home producers a modern packing film.

In 1999 the company adopted two new directions – production of a dairy films and full-colour process of overprinting flexible packing. It should be mentioned that at that time there was no other company on the local market which worked with flexography. In those years the production volume made up about 40 tonnes a month.

Year 2000 has become a significant period in the history of the enterprise. It is the time when the company moved into a new building, in which the basic production department is today situated. In 2001 there were 54 employees working for the "Sanin" company. At the same time was purchased the unique equipment – for high-quality (HQ) printing and some small units, such as the soldering equipment.

In 2001 a subsidiary production unit «Sanin Plus» was registered. The new enterprise was engaged in production of specialized kinds of films: packets and bags. In the same place was set the equipment for production of narrow shrinkable films. Today «Sanin Plus» produces more than 120 tonnes of films monthly.

In 2003 the "Sanin" company added a new direction to the already available ones – the production of self-adhesive labels. Again resources were invested in the purchase of new equipment. In the same year «Sanin» launched a new kind of packing: the laminated film. The opening of a department for recycling own waste products has allowed to make the production process ecological and safe.

In order to optimize the resources the company started the adoption of the „Symphony” project in October 2010, whose goal was to achieve a dynamic regulation of the company’s reserves’ level.  Intermediate results speak for themselves/tell their own story: the reliability of provision of the manufacturing with raw materials has increased, the level of excessive raw materials in warehouses has decreased, the turnover of reserves and the level of estimation of priority/ unmarketable goods have increased.
